◦This guide presents a general progression of skills for percussion study across middle school, high school, undergraduate, and graduate programs. Concepts, method books, and solo literature are covered, but they are not meant to be a one-size-fits-all system, nor is it definitive. There are many effective approaches and resources, and teachers should feel free to adjust, substitute, or reorganize materials based on their own preferences and teaching styles. This is just a starting point that reflects my current perspective and teaching approach. It will continue to evolve over time as I grow as a lifelong learner.
